ONLINE BASS COMMUNITIES Sabre Lane's Conservatory - New and comprehensive forum community and the "Official Forum Home" of N.I.C.P. Members, the most helpful (and fun) group of bass players on Earth! Highest Recommendation! 99% nice people and 1% actual CLOWNS. The Conservatory is a fun way to pass some time with very knowledgeable international professional touring and gigging bassists. There's more to music than just bass, so the Conservatory has areas for all musical interests. Talk Bass - Huge collection of bassists. Excellent information in the forum. 97% nice, knowledgeable people. Fender Community Forum - Dedicated of course to Fender instruments. They have separate Precision, Jazz and "OTHER Fender" forums. 99.99% nice people. See "How to post photos in the Fender Forum" and other similar forum below. G&L Discussion Forum - Specifically for Guitars By Leo fans! ONLINE GEAR AND RECORDING FORUMS Gearslutz - Generic discussion of recording gear and recording techniques. The Gear Page - Gear, gear and more gear. This links to their webzine, click the link to go to the FORUM. Sound On Sound - Home recording gear and home recording techniques forum discussions. HOW TO POST PHOTOS IN THE FENDER FORUM (and others!) A frequent issue at the Fender Forum is HOW TO POST A PHOTO. Fender does not let you upload the photo to their site. Other forums do the same thing. So here is how to do it! First, it is a good idea to RESIZE your photos before uploading them as a really huge photo widens the margins and make the entire thread a chore to read. Maybe 600 wide is a good maximum limit. To post
photos on the Fender Forum they must be hosted online elsewhere like on a
free Photobucket.com
account. So go to
PHOTOBUCKET to create an account, then upload your photos to your new
account. There are other free image hosting services also. It
really doesn't matter which one you use.
